One search or refresh you request that produces a shortlist, or the analysis of one programme from a source link. Browsing the catalogue and re-opening results you already have are free.
Writing action
One draft section or revision you request that completes and passes checks. A whole application usually takes several actions; 40 actions is not 40 applications.
Free
Not counted: eligibility checks, opening sources, editing, saving, exporting, switching businesses and account management.
If it fails
If a request fails or you cancel it before a useful result, it is not counted.

THE TERMS
Billing rules
Prices are in Canadian dollars, per month. Applicable taxes are extra.
Allowances reset at the start of each billing period, which begins on your subscription date (UTC), not on the first of the month.
Unused sessions and actions do not roll over.
When an allowance runs out, nothing is charged automatically. Wait for your next period or change plans.
Upgrading takes effect right away. Stripe shows the prorated charge first. You receive the difference in allowance for the current period, not a fresh allowance.
Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current period. Extra businesses stay readable and exportable; you choose which ones stay active.
Cancel any time from the billing portal. Your work stays yours: drafts and exports remain available after cancellation.
If a renewal payment fails, paid AI keeps working for 3 days while you update your payment method. After that, paid AI pauses; reading, editing and exporting continue.
A full refund or a payment dispute pauses paid AI for that account. Your work is never deleted.
Explore includes one starter research session and three starter writing actions, once per account, after email verification. They do not renew.
